It was a dense foam and had a straw applicator, in a small can. I am hoping that someone there can tell me what we used so that we can buy more to use on the bees. When we call you no one seems to know what we used even though we bought it from you. The last person to use the can threw it away so we don’t have the name of the product but it was white. The foam killed them on contact and was dense enough that the bees couldn’t come out thru it. Vegetables Plus Perm: 6 % Pyrethrin: Hello,Ī year ago we used a foam spray from you to use on honey bees that were in our walls. Now if at any point you feel you need a longer residual (due to excessive rain or heat), move to 4-6 oz of the Vegetables Plus per gallon and/or add some Exciter. But if they’re barely active, the Vegetables Plus alone mixed 2 oz per gallon would be fine to start. Now do you need to include the Exciter right now? Probably not unless you’re seeing bugs and want a fast kill. The good thing about fogging now is that you can stay ahead of the problem which will allow you to use less product which will effectively allow you to save cost and time. We’re in GA and no doubt the bugs are out in full force! In fact I have already fogged and I suggest you do the same. Or should I just begin regular treatments with the Veg Plus (2 parts) and Exciter (1 part)? I live in a townhouse with a common area and a lake 100 feet from my back door and I have a large garden out there also. Do you have any suggestions as to what I should do now? I’m in Virginia and we’ve had a VERY mild winter, which I fear will cause a bug-filled spring and summer. I bought a FOGMASTER from you last year along with some VEGETABLES PLUS and EXCITER to control bugs and mosquitos. Hand Duster: Centro 14 oz: PT Tri-Die: Drione: PT-230 is ideally suited for small jobs but even in this case, if you know where the nest is located you should be able to get it covered with just one can. So too treat, you’ll just have to slide the tube in the hole and press the actuator. This means you’ll be able to fit the tube easily into the holes you’re willing to make. This comes with a small tube straw that is smaller than 3/16th’s of an inch. But if you’re not comfortable trying, consider getting the drione in a can known as PT-230. I have actually used it to dust through very small holes so I know it can be done. And even if some did spill out sideways, it can easily be cleaned with nothing more than water and a paper towel. That means if you were to lay the tip flush over the holes you make, you should be able to direct the dust into the holes with little if any over spray of the DRIONE. In fact, I just now measured the opening on my Crusader and it’s about 1/16th of an inch or at most, just over it. But the actual opening through these extensions is much smaller. The Centro Bulb has a Curved Tip on the end which I do not think would fit into the small holes I want to drill into the wall.ĭo you have any thoughts on getting dusts into the Carpenter Ant nest in my wall studs?īoth the CRUSADER and the CENTROBULB dusters have extension tubes which are wider than 3/16″. The Crusader’s tip is about 1/4″ and I feel that is a bit too big for making holes in the wall and stud. I am aware of the Crusader and the Centro Bulb. I was hoping to keep the holes I drill into the wall 3/16″ of an inch or smaller. I would like to find a duster with a small tip so I can inject dust into pre-drilled holes in the wall. I can hear them distinctly in the wall in my office and they can be so loud that I cannot concentrate. My question is regarding an unfortunate Carpenter Ant problem I have.
